FOX PAULISTINHA
(TERRIER BRASILEIRO)

FOX PAULISTINHA (BRAZILIAN TERRIER)

It certainly had foreign ancestors. It is known that, at the end of last century and beginning of this one, Brazilian youngsters who used to go abroad to study at in European Universities, especially in France and England, at times ended up getting married there. Their wives used to bring along a little dog. It was probably an ancestral of the Fox Paulistinha. A standard phenotype of a new generation was forged in Brazil by means of breeding, probably with Creole males and females, and, further on, by parallel breeding. So, the Brazilian Terrier is a descendant of the Jack Russel Terrier and of the old Smooth Fox Terrier, both from England.

Nota do leitor:

Primeiramente o nome da Raça Terrier Brassiliero é efetivamente Terrier
Brassileiro.
Atenciosamente, Celso
dos Anjos, Presidente do Clube Gaucho do terrier Brasileiro
